Dr. Suryeon Ryu is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Children's Mercy Kansas City. Her work focuses on reducing health disparities by preventing and managing chronic diseases through the promotion of healthy movement behaviors. She is particularly interested in optimizing technology-based health interventions that help people adopt and sustain active lifestyles. She also applies population health and epidemiologic methods to identify determinants and benefits of movement behaviors and to inform tailored interventions.
