Dr. Matthew Lindquist is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at UMKC. As the founder and medical director of the University Health Weight Management clinic, he practices at and runs a multidisciplinary clinic treating obesity in adults, though he also sees children at the Children’s Mercy Metabolic and Bariatric Clinic. His clinical and research interests are genetics of obesity, pharmacotherapy, and binge eating disorder. He is also passionate about teaching the next generation of physicians to improve their understanding and treatment of obesity.
